We've seen a million of them. The colors can be different based on age, sex and time of season. The ruddys are brown. I found several different pics of the Ruddy to compare to a close up of the birds in flight.... No match. <br /><br />I think their nesting season is over. I think they nest in August and September down here. When we first started going to Jekyll, we saw a lot of tutrle nesting sites.
