Solomon's Island MD to Deltaville VA in pictures

We couldn't have asked for a better day.  It started off sunny and warm(ish), in the 50s.  Pam ate breakfast on the aft deck.

We cast off at 8:15 with 55 miles to Deltaville.  It was sunny and calm winds for most of the day.  This is a broad part of the bay and it reminded me of cruising offshore, except there was no ocean swells.    When the light breeze did kick up, it was out of the north.  Since we were heading south, the ride was as smooth as glass.

Here are a few pics.

The dogs each get a bone.

Without much to do for 7 1/2 hours except stare at the horizon, one can get a little nuts.
